See you at the bitter end

June 12, 2009 § 1 Comment

My grandma. Has a couple of months left.

Deep down, I always knew it would come to this. She’s had bone cancer for over 25 years, it’s a miracle she’s even made it this far. But she was always relatively ok… except now it’s pretty much exploded all over her skeleton.

I’m still numb enough to debate whether or not it would be a good idea to just go to the party tonight and get totally, ridiculously smashed until I either forget from the alcohol or from puking my guts out.

I… I don’t even know.

She just got a new couch and armchairs last October.

§ One Response to See you at the bitter end

  • I’m so sorry. I really wish that I could just hug you now, but there are thousands of kilometers between us, so it’s not that easy… If you have something, a necklace, or something that reminds you of her, and you wear it all the time, it reminds you of her, and you keep her close to your heart. I’m so sorry.
