WTF is Wollphilie?

‘Wollphilie’ is German for ‘yarnophilia’ – both of which happen to be completely and utterly made-up words. There’s probably a fancy Greek term for it, but I thought my word was snazzy enough to double as an online alias and blog title.

This is a blog about cooking, baking, photography, tea, geekery, life with two Saskias and a dog, spinning, university, random ruminating, and yes, occasionally even knitting. I do tend to ramble a lot, but there’s almost always photos.
